dc.description.abstract | This study was designed to assess morphological changes in the rabbit tympanic membrane after ciprofloxacin and trimethoprim + sulphamethoxazole had been instilled as a single dose into the middle ear cavities of 24 rabbits. At different times the rabbits were decapitated and the lesions which occured on the tympanic membrane were studied histopathologically. Our results indicate that in the ciprofloxacin group reactive inflammatory changes are reversible as in the trimethoprim + sulphamethoxazole group. | en_US |
