Özet

A 29-year-old woman had pain and limited range of motion in the metacarpophalangeal joint of the left second finger for 3 months. The patient had no previous trauma, and there were no factors that could be the cause of her disease. Examination revealed tenderness over the second metacarpophalangeal joint. For the evaluation of pain, x-ray and 3-phase bone scintigraphy were performed. X-rays showed an osteolytic lesion in the head of the left second metacarpal, and a bone scan showed increased activity at the same site. It was determined to be osteonecrosis.
