| dc.description.abstract | Rhaidestos (Tekirdag), Thrakia Bölgesi'nde, Marmara Denizi'nin kuzey kıyısında yer alan, sonraları Resisthon, Resisto gibi adlar tasıyan ve 6. yüzyılın piskoposluk merkezi olan antik bir kenttir. Bu arastırmada, Tekirdag Arkeoloji ve Etnografya Müzesi'ne, Tekirdag ve ilçelerinden satın alınma ve hibe yoluyla getirilen, Helenistik ve Roma dönemine ait 57 figürin üzerinde çalısılmıstır. Bu figürinlerin çogunlugunun Malkara'nın dogusundaki Apros-Apri (Germeyan/Kermeyan Köyü) antik yerlesimi basta olmak üzere, Malkara, Heraion Teichos (Karaevlialtı), Perinthos (Marmara Ereglisi), ve Bizanthe (Barbaros) antik yerlesimlerinden bulundugu bilinmektedir. Buluntu yeri bilinmeyen üç figürine ve buluntu yeri bilinmeyen fakat Rhaidestos'dan oldugu düsünülen üç figürine de bu çalısmada yer verilmistir. Çalısılan tüm figürinler yüzey buluntusu olarak müzeye getirilmistir. Figürinlerin geldigi antik yerlesimlerde, Heraion Teichos hariç, kazı yapılmamıstır. Bu çalısmada, figürinlerin stil ve tip olarak özelliklerinin saptanıp, diger bölgelerdeki figürinlerle benzerlik ve farklılıkların ortaya konulmasına, bu figürinlerin bulundugu bölgelerdeki kültlerin incelenmesine, dolayısıyla bölgedeki inançlar hakkında bilgi edinilmeye çalısılmıstır. Bu figürinler, diger bölgelerdeki figürinlerle karsılastırılarak, M.Ö. 3.-M.S. 3. yüzyıllar arasına tarihlendirilerek degerlendirilmistir. | en_US |

| dc.description.abstract | Tekirdag, situated at the North South of the Marmara Sea, is an ancient city which is the center of episcopacy at 6th century. At the end of the researches made on these figurines which had been brought to The Tekirdag Archaeology and Etnography Museum by means of either purchase or donation, I established that 57 of the figurines belong to Hellenistic and Roman period and present these figurines in the study. Most of these figurines were found especially at Apros-Apri (Kermeyan), an ancient city at the east of Malkara, and other ancient cities Malkara, Heraion Teichos (Karaevlialtı), Perinthos (Marmara Ereglisi), Bizanthe (Barbaros) .In this work, three of these figurines not being known where they had been found and three ones believed to be from Rhaidestos will be introduced. The figurines are brought to the museum as surface find but except then Heraion Teichos, no excavation is made at the ancient cities that they belong to. This study is important to determine the still and type of these figurines, to show similarities and differences between these figurines and the ones from other ancient cities, and than to compare cult from as of these figurines with cult from other areas. These figurines are to be dated between 3th century B.C. and 3th century A.D. by comparing with figurines that are from other ancient areas. | en_US |
