Özet
Günümüzde okul öncesi eğitim, genel eğitimin başlangıç basamağı olarak görülmektedir. Ülkemizde okul öncesi eğitim kavramının, henüz ilköğretime adım atmamış çocukların bir eğitim kurumunda aldıkları eğitim olarak algılandığı görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda okul öncesi eğitimi veren kurumlarda çocukların öz bakımlarıyla birlikte onların doğru bir şekilde eğitilmeleri gerekmektedir. Ayrıca okul öncesi kurumlarının bazıları bakım amaçlı olup sadece çocukların bakımları sağlanırken, bazı okul öncesi eğitim kurumları ise eğitim amaçlı olup yalnızca çocukların bilimsel eğitimlerine katkıda bulunmaya çalışmaktadır. Tabii her meslekte olduğu gibi okul öncesi öğretmenleri de görevlerini yerine getirirken bir takım sorunlar ile karşılaşmaktadırlar. Bu araştırmada Türkiye’de okul öncesi eğitime genel bir bakış yapılmış ve okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin yönetim süreçlerinde yaşadıkları problemlere değinilmiştir.

Nowadays, preschool education is considered as the first step to general education. It is seen that the concept of pre-school education in our country is perceived as education that children who have not taken primary education yet take in an educational institution. In this context, pre-primary education institutions need to educate children with their self-care in the right way. In addition, some of the preprimary institutions are for care purposes and only child care is provided, while some pre-primary education institutions are for education purposes only and contribute to the scientific education of children. Of course, as in every profession, pre-school teachers are faced with a number of problems when they fulfill their duties. In this study, an overview of pre-school education in Turkey was made and the problems that pre-school teachers have experienced in the management process are mentioned.
