Sosyo-demografik değişkenlerin rekreasyon katılımına etki : İstanbul (Kadıköy ve Maltepe ) örneği

Özet
Bu çalışma, Maltepe ve Kadıköy ilçelerinde yaşayan halkın, sosyodemografik değişkenlerine göre rekreasyon etkinliklerine katılımını incelemektedir. Çalışmanın içeriğinde, halkın rekreasyonel eğilimleri, talepleri ve etkinlikleri hedef alınmıştır. Çalışmada, Maltepe ve Kadıköy ilçelerinde kullanılmak üzere hazırlanan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu İstanbul’un Kadıköy ve Maltepe ilçelerinde daha önce rekreasyonel etkinlere katılan halk oluşturmaktadır. Her iki ilçede de anket uygulamasına başlanılmadan önce bağlı olunan belediyelerden 2015 ve 2016 (ilk 3 ay) yıllarına ait rekreasyonel etkinliklere katılım sayısı belirlenmiştir. Bu sayılar kapsamında her ilçeye 500 adet anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum ve meslek gruplarının rekreasyon etkinliklerine katılma durumuna göre dağılımlarındaki farklılıklar Ki-Kare testi ile, gelir durumu ve eğitim durumunun rekreasyonel etkinliklere katılma sıklığı ile ilişkisi ise Spearman Korelasyon ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan Ki-Kare analizleri sonucunda, cinsiyet değişkeninin ve medeni durumun, rekreasyonel etkinliklere katılımdaki dağılımında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. Meslek* ve yaş gruplarının* rekreasyon etkinliklerine katılıp katılmama durumu dağılımında ise anlamlı bir fark olduğu gözlenmiştir (*p<.001). Spearman Korelasyon analizi sonucunda ise, gelir düzeyinin arttıkça etkinliklere katılım sıklığının arttığı görülmüştür (r (900)=.227; p<.01)
This study examines the participation of people living in the provinces of Maltepe and Kadıköy in Istanbul according to their socio-demographic variables. The aim of the study was to target the recreational tendencies and demands of the people. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to both districts in order to be fast and reliable. The sample group of the research is the people who have participated in recreational activities previously in Kadıköy and Maltepe districts of Istanbul. In both districts, the number of admission to recreational events for the years 2015 and 2016 (first 3 months) was determined from the municipalities connected before the survey was initiated. Based on these numbers, 500 questionnaires were applied to each district. The differences in age, gender, marital status, and occupational groups according to participation in recreational activities were analyzed by Chi-square test and Spearman's correlation with the incidence of income and educational attainment in recreational activities. As a result of the Chi-Square analysis, no significant difference was found in the distribution of gender variable and marital status, participation in recreational activities. There was a significant difference in the distribution of occupation and age groups according to their participation in recreation activities (p <.001). As a result of the Spearman Correlation analysis, it was observed that as the level of income increased, the frequency of participation increased with activities (r (900)=.227;p<.01).
