Türkiye'de deneyim kavramına yönelik olarak turizm alanında yayınlanan lisansüstü tezler üzerine bir içerik analizi

Özet
Deneyim insan zihnine, duygularına ve duyularına hitap etmektedir. Olumlu izlenimler bırakan deneyimler tüketici için oldukça önemlidir. Turizm ise dünyada olduğu kadar ülkemizde de sosyal ve ekonomik anlamda en önemli sektörlerden biridir. Tüketim anlayışında yaşanan rasyonel faydadan ziyade kişiye haz veren ve deneyim değeri olan ürün ve hizmet beklentisindeki değişim günümüz turistik tüketicisinin önceliklerini değiştirmiş deneyimsel turizme yönelmesini sağlamıştır. Hizmet veya ürün satın alırken alışılagelmiş konseptten farklı arayışlara yönelen günümüz turistleri turizm faaliyetinin kendisine unutamayacağı, akılda kalıcı ve hazcı deneyim sunmasını beklemektedir. Turizm doğası gereği birçok turistik deneyimin birlikte yaşanmasını mümkün kılan olaylar bütünüdür. Araştırmanın amacı Türkiye'de deneyim kavramına yönelik turizm alanında yapılmış olan lisansüstü tezlerin içerik analizini yaparak araştırma alanyazınındaki mevcut durumu ortaya çıkarmaktır. Çalışma, Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi'nde bulunan, turizm alanında deneyim kavramına yönelik yazılan ve erişimine izin verilen 110 adet lisansüstü tezi içermektedir. Araştırma kapsamında bulunan tezlere ''deneyim'' anahtar kelimesi kullanılarak ulaşılmıştır. Tezlerin 39'u doktora, 71'i ise yüksek lisans tezlerinden oluşmuştur. Çalışmalar konularına, yayınlandığı üniversiteye, yıllara, bilim dallarına, kullanılan örnekleme yöntemlerine, veri toplama yöntemlerine, veri analiz yöntemlerine ve veri toplanan turistin ülkesine göre ayrılarak incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler tablo haline getirilip yüzde ve frekans analizi uygulanarak yorumlanmıştır. Kısıt olarak erişim izni bulunmayan 3 adet lisansüstü tez araştırmaya dahil edilememiştir
Experience appeals to the human mind, emotions, and senses. Experiences that leave positive impressions are very important for the consumer. Tourism is one of the most important social and economic sectors in our country as well as in the world. The change in the expectation of products and services that give pleasure to the person and have experience value, rather than the rational benefit experienced in the consumption understanding, has changed the priorities of today's tourist consumers and made them turn to experiential tourism. Today's tourists, who are looking for a different concept than the usual concept while purchasing a service or product, expect tourism to offer an unforgettable, memorable and hedonistic experience. Tourism is a set of events that makes it possible to experience many touristic experiences together due to its nature. The aim of the research by analyzing the contents of the graduate thesis on the concept of experience, having been in the field of tourism in Turkey is to reveal the current situation in the research literature. The study includes 110 postgraduate theses that are written and permitted to access the concept of experience in the field of tourism, located in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education. Theses within the scope of the research were reached by using the keyword "experience". Theses consisted of 39 doctoral theses and 71 master theses. The studies were examined by dividing them according to their subjects, the university they were published in, years, branches of science, sampling methods used, data collection methods, data analysis methods and the country of the tourist.The obtained data are tabulated and interpreted by applying percentage and frequency analysis. 3 postgraduate theses for which there is no permission for restricted access could not be included in the study.
