Özet
The study was conducted to determine effects of some climate factors on the first flowering date, last flowering date and early maturing index of peanut genotypes belong to Virginia, Valencia and Spanish groups. In this research with ten years during 1995-2004 monthly rainfall, temperature, cloudy and relative humidity values in growing seasons from May to September were used as climate factors. It was observed significant correlation between last flowering date and earliness index at 1 % statistical level for all groups while first flowering date had no significant effects. Increasing day number from sowing to last flowering resulted with decreasing of maturing pod ratio at harvest. Rainfall, cloudy and relative humidity in June delayed the first flowering date. Cloudy and rainfall in July increased flowering duration, and decreased maturing pod ratio at harvest. Both of characters in Valencia were also affected by total rainfall for all months until the end of these periods. Temperature in June had negative correlation with ealiness index and positive correlation with the last flowering date for all groups. Temperatures in June in Thrace region were not enough for flowering of peanut especially belong to Virginia.
