Abstract
u çalışmanın amacı, bölgesel kalkınmanın sağlanmasında koordinatör bir kurum olan Trakya Kalkınma Ajansı’nın bölgede medikal turizmin gelişimine etkisini tespit etmektir. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması ile bütüncül tek durum deseni kullanılmış; Trakya Kalkınma Ajansı’nın 2017-2021 yılı faaliyet raporları, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı tarafından hazırlanan 2017-2020 yıllarını kapsayan Kalkınma Ajansları Genel Faaliyet Raporları ile Trakya Bölgesi Sağlık Turizmi Strateji Raporu incelenmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucunda Türkiye’de sağlık turizminin bölgesel kalkınmada önemli bir sektör olarak kalkınma ajansları tarafından farklı çalışmalarla desteklendiği, Trakya Kalkınma Ajansı’nın ise medikal turizmde 2017 yılından itibaren tüm paydaşları kapsayacak şekilde çalışmalar yürüttüğü gözlemlenmiştir. Trakya Kalkınma Ajansı’nın danışmanlık, eğitim, iş birliği ve koordinasyon, tanıtım ve pazarlama odaklı çalışmalarının 2017-2020 yıllarına ait sağlık turisti verilerine olumlu yansıdığı ve bölgede medikal turizminin gelişimine olumlu etki ettiği değerlendirilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of Trakya Development Agency, on the development of medical tourism in the region. In the study, case study and holistic single case design, from qualitative research methods were used; the 2017-2021 activity reports of Trakya Development Agency, the Development Agencies General Activity Reports covering the years 2017-2020 prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the Thrace Region Health Tourism Strategy Report were examined. As a result of the analysis, it has been observed that health tourism in Turkey, as an important sector in regional development, is supported by different activities by development agencies, while Trakya Development Agency has been working in medical tourism to include all stakeholders since 2017. It has been evaluated that the work of the Trakya Development Agency focused on consultancy, training, cooperation and coordination, promotion and marketing has a positive effect on the medical tourist data for the years 2017-2020 and has a positive effect on the development of medical tourism in the region.
