Özet
Tükenmişlik sendromu özellikle insan ile ilişkili meslek gruplarında sıkça gözlenen bir problemdir. Tıbbi çalışanlar tükenmişlik sendromu açısından en riskli gruplarda yer alırlar. Tükenmişlik çalışma hayatını negatif yönde etkileyen komponentlerden biridir ve düşük iş performansı ile ilişkilidir. Bu sendromda bireyin iç kaynaklarında tükenme, amaçlarından uzaklaşma görülür. Tükenmişlik üç alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır: Duygusal tükenme, duyarsızlaşma ve kişisel başarıda azalma.Acil çalışanlarında tükenmişlik seviyeleri ve buna etki eden faktörlerin araştırılması konulu çalışmamız Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Edirne Devlet Hastaneleri acil servislerinde ve Trakya Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi acil servisinde çalışanlara yapıldı. Bu hastanelerde yüz yüze görüşmeler ve izlemlerle bilgiler toplandı. Acil çalışanları için uygulanan ankette aile, çalışma şartları, yaş, cinsiyet, iş yükü, mobbing, şiddet, ödüllendirme gibi içerikler ve MTÖ soruları soruldu. Anketin ilk bölümünde 68 soru, ikinci bölümünde ise 22 soru vardı. SPSS 20.0 istatistik programı kullanıldı.172 sağlık çalışanından bilgiler toplandı. 88 i bayan 84 ü erkek idi. Katılanların yaş aralığı 18 ve 60 idi. 6 acil tıp uzmanı, 38 pratisyen hekim, 20 acil tıp asistanı ve 108 sağlık çalışanı anketleri cevapladı. Katılanların genç yaşta olması, yüksek eğitim seviyelerinin olması, deneyimsiz, bekar, çocuksuz olmaları ve aşırı çalışma saatleri tükenmişlik açısından olumsuz faktörler olarak saptandı. Aşırı çalışma saatleri, hasta sayıları, mobbing, iş yükü ve çalışanlar arası uyumsuzluk gibi nedenler ise tükenmişliği artıran sebeplerdendi.
Abstract
Burnout is a common problem especially observed in occupational group providing service for human beings eg: emergency departments. Medical staff is one of the most risky groups in terms of burnout. Burnout is one of the component that affects the work life negatively and is associated with low job performance. This syndrome means loss of idealizm, exhausting energy, progressing stress process which was caused by excessive demands. Burnout consists of three sub dimensions. These are emotional exhausting, depersonalization, and lack of personal accomplishment.This study aimed to assess the burnout levels of emergency staffs and the factors affecting it. This study was carried out in Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ state hospitals and Edirne University Faculty of Medicine at emergency departments. The data’s were collected under observation and face to face interviews at emergency departments of these hospitals. A questionnaire composed of some features of medical staffs such as family, work life conditions, the gender, age, workload, the awards, mobbing, violence and Masclach Burnout Inventory questions was used. First part of the questionnaire include 68 questions and second 22. SPSS 20.0 was used for analysis (statistical programme). Data’s were collected from 172 medical staff. In these study 88 were female 84 were male. Their age was between 18 to 60. 6 specialist, 38 general practicinars, 20 emergency asistants, 108 nurses and other health care providers answered the questionnaire.The individuals having such attributes as young age, high education, inexperience, making an unwilling job, single being, having no child, and excessive working hours are under risk in terms of burnout. Excessive working hours, patient number, mobbing, work load, bad relationship between staffs are acceptive as factors that increase burnout.
