dc.description.abstractCicims, different appearences in two sided, are weavings in which the third thread is used for ornamentation except weft and warp. Cicims are meaned in different types such as cecim, cacım, çalma, çelme in society. Cacım is meaned for cicim In Bitlis area. There are two different kinds of cicims in the province of Bitlis. These are weft face and warp face cicims. Mostly warp-faced cicims are done in the territory. Weft-faced cicim are rarely found in mosques. For warp-faced cicims, weft and warp is used except pattern thread. Since pattern is combined with warp, it is called “warp faced cicim”. In this article, it is aimed examine cicim woven in terms of techniques, color, design and composition features in Bitlis which is an important weaving centre from past to present. For this purpose, using the research method of face to face interviews and observational research methods study was carried out in the province of Bitlis and districts. In the field study ten cicim samples, studied in the field area in different aspects such as technique, colour, pattern aspects, fact sheets with photographs and pattern drawings are added to the article. The cicims in the article are made of wool, animal hair and orlon three of which are runner veavings, two are pouches, two are prayer rugs, one is pillow, one is big weaving and one is storage cover. As a result of study, weftfaced the cicim weaving was dropped many years ago and the warp-faced cicim weaving is done until recently but today it was determined that left its completelyen_US
dc.description.abstractCicimler yüzü ve tersi farklı görüntü veren, atkı ve çözgü ipliği dışında süsleme yapmak için üçüncü bir iplik kullanılan dokumalardır. Cicimler halk arasında cecim, cacım, çalma, çelme gibi değişik adlarla ifade edilir. Bitlis yöresinde de cicime cacım denilmektedir. Bitlis yöresinde iki farklı cicim çeşidi görülmektedir. Bunlar; atkı yüzlü cicimler ve çözgü yüzlü cicimlerdir. Yörede yaygın olarak çözgü yüzlü cicim dokunmuştur. Atkı yüzlü cicimlere nadir olarak sadece camilerde rastlanılmaktadır. Çözgü yüzlü cicimlerde sadece atkı ve çözgü ipliği kullanılmış, desen ipliği kullanılmamıştır. Desen çözgü ile oluşturulduğu için “çözgü yüzlü cicim” ismini almıştır. Bu makalede, geçmişten günümüze önemli bir dokumacılık merkezi olan Bitlis yöresinde dokunan cicimlerin teknik, renk, desen ve kompozisyon özellikleri bakımından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda alan araştırması yöntemlerinden yüz yüze görüşme ve gözleme dayalı araştırma yöntemleri kullanılarak Bitlis il ve ilçelerinde çalışma yürütülmüştür. Yapılan alan araştırmasında incelenen cicim örneklerinden 10 tanesinin teknik, renk, desen ve motif özelliklerini içeren bilgi formları, fotoğraf ve motif çizimleri ile birlikte makaleye eklenmiştir. Makalede verilen cicimlerin üçü yolluk, ikisi torba, ikisi namazlık, biri yastık, biri yaygı, biri de yük örtüsü amaçlı dokunmuş olup hammaddeleri yün, kıl ve orlon ipliktir. Çalışma sonucunda atkı yüzlü cicim dokumalarının uzun yıllar önce bırakıldığı, çözgü yüzlü cicim dokumalarının ise yakın zamanlara kadar yapıldığı ancak günümüzde onun da tamamen bırakıldığı tespit edilmiştiren_US
