Özet
Bu tezdeki amaç, “Kraliyet Müzik Okulları Birleşik Kurulu” [KMOBK] adıyla 1889 yılında Londra?da kurulan müzik seviye sınavları kurulunun 1990?dan beri Türkiye?de gösterdiği faaliyetleri, bu faaliyetlerin etki alanını, söz konusu seviye sınavlarıyla müzik ve müzik eğitimine yönelik gelişmeleri betimlemektir. Bu betimlemede piyano öğretimiyle bu öğretimin ana unsurları olan piyano öğretmeni, öğrencisi ve öğrenci-veli deneyimleri birlikte ele alınacaktır. Çalışmanın evreni ve örneklemi Bursa ili örneği olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma yöntemi nicel yöntem olup saha araştırması deseninde uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler sıklık ve çapraz çizelge işlemleriyle bulgulara dönüştürülmüştür. Bulguların açıklanması ve yorumlanması piyano öğretmeni, öğrencisi ve veli alt başlıklarına göre düzenlenmiştir. Bu tezde, kişisel bilgiler; KMOBK işbirliğinde piyano seviye sınavında öğretmen, öğrenci ve veli görüşleri; KMOBK sınav döneminde öğretmen, öğrenci ve velinin sınav kaygısı; KMOBK sınavında baGarı ve başarısızlık durumu; KMOBK sınavının öğrenciye ve aileye kazanımları; KMOBK?ta ailenin görev ve sorumlulukları; KMOBK sınavını tamamlayan ya da yarıda bırakan öğrenciler konularına odaklı yedi alt başlığa göre incelenmiştir. KMOBK?un piyano eğitimi, sınama ve ölçme değerlemesinin işleyişi, başarı ve başarısızlık, yarı mesleki piyano eğitimini benimseme, sürdürme ve mesleki nitelikli bir piyano eğitimine geçişe yönelik nicel sonuçlar elde edilmiş ve açıklanmıştır
Abstract
The purpose in this thesis is to describe the activities that have been executed in Turkey since 1990 by the [music level] examinations board [2] incorporated in London in 1889 under the name of “(the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) [1]” [ABRSM]; the impact area of those activities; the developments about the aforementioned level detection examinations and music training through piano teaching and experiences of piano teachers, students, parental guardians who are the main elements of this teaching. The universe and sample of this description was determined as the province of Bursa and the research method is qualitative method and it was applied in the design of field research. The data obtained were transformed into findings through frequency and contingency table processes. Explanation and interpretation of findings were arranged according to the sub-titles of piano teachers, students, parental guardians. From the findings revealed quantitative results again addressing at the piano teacher, parental guardians and students according to seven sub-titles focusing at the subjects of “Personal details, teachers?, students?, parental guardians? views in Piano level detection examination with the collaboration of ABRSM; examination anxiety of teachers, students, parental guardians in ABRSM examination period; success and failure status in the ABRSM examination; the gains provided by the ABRSM examination to the students and their families; ABRSM family?s tasks and responsibilities; students who complete or leave uncompleted the ABRSM examination” about the progress of ABRSM?s piano training, testing and measurement assessment, success and failure, adopting and sustaining semi-professional piano training and transition to professional piano training were obtained and announced.
