Coastal zone has been the most attractive and popular area for every time and for all the populations and cultures. The natural coastal sources have the most important role on the economical and social improvement of the coasts and also of the country. The social cultural and economic revaluation, beginning with industrial revaluation and urbanisation, have been effective in coastal planning, and lead up to the pollution of the sea and coastal areas, in 1950's, in Turkey. In spite of many legal arrangements for the conservation of coastal sources and use of public benefit, the problems have expanded progressively. The sustainable legal and administrative orders to avoid coastal problems should be done for improvements of the coastal areas. In this study, the problems and solutions of coastal zone of Turkey will be investigated and legal and administrative issues discuss on the conservation point of view. coastal laws, Turkey, shoreline, shore edge line.en_US
