There is a linear relationship between the pandemic and the city. The transmission rate of the pandemic is higher in areas where the population is dense, that is, in cities. The pandemic is transmitted from human to human through contact. In this study, the covid-19 pandemic and city’s relationship were examined, and it was understood that it was crowded at the basis of the pandemic. Population density is mostly experienced in crowded cities. The crowded city is a metropolitan city with a population exceeding 500, 000 people. It is envisaged that the isolation of the crowd can be provided by converted planning of the cities. In this sense, it is emphasized that the converting conditions of cities during the pandemic are evaluated by urban building areas and capacity ratio calculation method, and the necessity of each city to be converted plan in the city vision in the case of pandemic. © Peter Lang GmbH Internationaler Verlag der Wissenschaften Berlin 2021 All rights reserved.en_US
