| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırma, Japon animesinin, insan, doğa ve teknoloji ilişkisine yaklaşımını Hayao Miyazaki’nin Prenses Mononoke filminin analizi ile tartışmayı amaçlamaktadır. Japon animesi ve organik olarak bağlı olduğu Japon çizgi romanı manga, Japonya’nın tarihi, kültürel mirası ve inanç sistemleri içinde şekillenmiş, bununla birlikte Batı’nın kültür mirasından da beslenerek gelişmiştir. Batı düşüncesinde doğa anlayışı, doğanın yasalarını anlamaya yönelmiş ve nesne odaklı, sistematik bir kavrayış gelişmiştir. Bu kavrayış, insan merkezli doğa anlayışının şekillenmesinde önemli rol oynamıştır. İnsan merkezli doğa anlayışının hız kazandırdığı teknolojik gelişim ve sanayileşme ile çevre sorunları daha görünür hale gelmiş; artan çevre sorunları ekolojik hareketlerin ortaya çıkmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. Japon animesi, içinde geliştiği Doğu kültürü ve felsefesinin pek çok özelliğini yansıtmaktadır. Doğu kültüründe doğa, yüce bir varlık olarak kabul edilmiş, insanın onunla ilişkisi sahiplik ya da düşmanlık ilişkisi olarak görülmemiştir. Anime anlatısında Doğu kültürünün doğa anlayışı önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Japonya’ya 2. Dünya Savaşı bitiminde atılan atom bombaları ve ülkede gerçekleşen teknolojik atılım süreci ile teknoloji olgusu da önemli bir tema olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Anime yapımlarda doğa ve teknoloji ilişkisi iyi ve kötü odaklar yaratılmadan ele alınmaktadır. Disney’in çevreci animasyon örneklerinde öne çıkan klasik melodram anlatısında doğanın tahribatına neden olan kötülük odağı kahraman tarafından yenilmek suretiyle zafer kazanılmaktadır. Japon animesinde basit melodram kalıpları kullanılsa da bu kalıpların dışına çıkılmaktadır. Ekolojik temaları ile tanınan Anime yönetmeni Hayao Miyazaki’nin Prenses Mononoke filmi; insan, doğa ve teknoloji ilişkisine çok yönlü bakış açısı ve klasik melodram anlatısının sınırlarını zorlayan hikâyesi ile dikkat çeken bir yapımdır. ii Prenses Mononoke filmi, insanın doğa ve teknoloji ile olan karmaşık ve çatışmalı ilişkisini iyi ve kötü odaklar yaratmadan ve mutlak bir çözüm önermeden ele almakta, bu sorunun karmaşıklığı üzerine bir düşünme deneyimi yaşatmakta ve belirsiz bir umut yaratmaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to discuss the Japanese anime's approach to the relationship between human, nature and technology with the analysis of Hayao Miyazaki's film Princess Mononoke. Japanese anime and the Japanese comic book manga, in which the anime are organically connected, has been shaped within the historical, cultural heritage and belief systems of Japan, as well asit has developed by being nourished by the cultural heritage of the West. The understanding of nature in Western thought tended to understand the laws of nature and an object-oriented and systematic understanding has developed. This understanding played an important role in shaping the human-centered understanding of nature. Environmental problems have become more visible with technological development and industrialization accelerated by the human-centered understanding of nature; The increasing environmental problems have paved the way for the emergence of ecological movements. Japanese anime reflects many features of Eastern culture and philosophy in which it developed. In Eastern culture, nature has been accepted as a supreme being, and the relationship of man with nature is not seen as a relation of ownership or hostility. Eastern culture's understanding of nature has an important place in the anime narrative. With the atomic bombs dropped in Japan at the end of World War II and the technological breakthrough process taking place in the country, the phenomenon of technology also emerges as an important theme. In anime productions, the relationship between nature and technology is considered without creating good and bad foci. In the classic melodrama narrative that stands out in Disney's environmentally friendly animation examples, victory is achieved by defeating the focus of evil, which causes the destruction of nature. iv Although simple melodrama patterns are used in Japanese anime, these patterns are exceeded. Princess Mononoke by Anime director Hayao Miyazaki known for its ecological themes; It is a remarkable production with its versatile perspective on the relationship between human, nature and technology and its story that pushes the limits of classical melodrama. The film Princess Mononoke deals with the complex and conflictual relationship of man with nature and technology without creating good and bad foci and without offering an absolute solution; it provides an experience of reflection on the complexity of the problem and creates uncertain hope. | en_US |
