Özet
Korku, görünen ve görünenin ardındaki olgunun toplumlar üzerinde şekillendirdiği bir sınır teşkil etmektedir. Görüntüler korkunun ve anlatısının doğasında yer alan birer parça olmakla beraber toplumdan topluma, dolayısıyla coğrafyasına ve kültürüne göre farklılıklar ya da ortaklıklar gösteren materyallerdir. Bu görüntüler barındıkları toplumlar üzerindeki işleyişleri ve ilettikleri anlamlar sayesinde kendilerini durmaksızın yeniden üretmektedirler. Sinemada işlenen korku teması, bu materyallerin toplumlar üzerinde çeşitli anlamlarla vücut bulmuş olmasının bir sonucu olarak kendini göstermektedir. Filmler üzerinden korku imgelerini okumak toplumlar üzerinde psikolojik ve sosyolojik bir araştırmayı zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu nedenledir ki çalışmalarımız içerisinde semiyotik(göstergebilim) bizim için oldukça önemli bir çıkış noktası teşkil etmektedir. Bu sayede görünen gerçeklikle anlatılmak istenen ve aynı zamanda görünmeyenle vurgulanan imgenin sosyo-kültürel farklılıklar vasıtasıyla, toplumlar üzerindeki etkisi deşifre edilebilecektir. Korku anlatıları kapsamında, Avrupa ve Türkiye sinemasında ortaya konmuş çeşitli eserlerin incelendiği ve bu eserlerin kültürel ve tematik bir analizle sonuçlandırıldığı araştırmamızın, “Avrupa Ve Türkiye’de Korku Sineması İmgelerinin Kültürel ve Tematik Analizi” adı altında görsel anlatıların sosyo-kültürel etkilerinin tartışılmasında yol gösterici olacağına inanmaktayız.

Fear poses a limit behind the visible and apparent cases that shape societies. Images are the parts of fear's nature and it shows differences or common spots according to geography and culture.This means that they are reprocuding themselves by their functioning in society and the messages they have. This material shows itself on the society as a result of having found the body by various means. Reading horror images on movies creates a requirement of psychological and sociological researches on societies. That is why our work in semiotics (semiotics) represents a very important starting point for us. In this way, the reality appears to mean desirable and at the same time it highlighted the socio-cultural differences through the images appear, can be deciphered its impact on societies. The scope of horror narratives, which examined various works have been demonstrated in Europe and Turkish cinema and our cultural and research as a thematic analysis, the conclusion of these works have been discussed under the name of "Cultural and Thematic Analysis of Horror Cinema Image in Europe and Turkey". We believe that, this discussion will be guidance for visual narratives of the socio-cultural impact.
