Özet
Rabies is almost always a fatal viral infection with two classical types: encephalitic and paralytic. After the onset of the disease, it is infrequent to recover. Most of the cases are related to the bite of an infected animal and especially dogs. Diagnosis depends on a history of suspected exposure and clinical symptoms. The most critical point is prevention. Mass dog vaccination can help to improve this aim. It is also important to perform pre-post exposure prophylaxis. © 2022 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
