| dc.description.abstract | Let v = vo t2 o ... o vn be a valuation of a field K with rankv = n. Let (L, z)/(K, v) be a finite extension of valued fields where z = z o z<2, o ... o zn is the extension of v to field L . In this paper it is shown that, if (L, z)/(K,v) is a tame extension then finite extensions of valued fields (L, zi)/(K, v) and (kZil ,Zi)/(kVi-1, Vi) are tame extensions for i = 2, ...,n.
