Abstract
Dialectology studies have important places amon Turkology studies. Along with the written language, dialects must be documented as they help us to understand the present situation of the language and they bear traces from the old Turkic dialcets. With the dialectology studies started in the middle of 19th century the vocabulary of the most areas in Turkey have been determined and published as a book with the title Turkiye'de Halk Agzindan Derleme Sozlugu. Derleme sozlugu still preserves its importance for dialectology studies. However, thare are many places whose vocabulary have not been documented, and it is compulsory that Derleme sozlugu must be completed in terms of vocabulary of Turkish dialects. In the present study, the vocabulary of Veliesme, which is a town of Corlu, Tekirdag, which are not found in Derleme Sozlugu have been determined. By doing so an important contribution will made to Derleme Sozlugu
