18-36 aylık çocukların mizaç özellikleri ile problem davranışları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, 18-36 aylık çocukların mizaç özellikleri ile problem davranışları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada, tarama modelleri içerisinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu ise kartopu örnekleme yöntemi ile Edirne ili merkez ilçesinde ikamet eden 18-36 aylık çocuğu bulunan ebeveynler oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak "Kişisel Bilgi Formu", "Erken Çocukluk Davranış Anketi" ve "1,5-5 Yaş Çocuk Davranış Değerlendirme Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerin analizinde Pearson korelasyon katsayısı, Hiyerarşik Regresyon analizi, Bağımsız Grup t-testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularından elde edilen sonuçlara göre 18-36 çocukların mizaç özellikleri ile davranış problemleri arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. 18-36 aylık okul öncesi dönem çocukların duygusal ve davranışsal problemleri ile mizaçları arasından anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu davranış problemlerini mizaçları önemli derecede açıkladığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca 18-36 aylık çocuğa sahip anne ve baba yaşları artarken çocukların içe dönük davranış problemi, dışa dönük davranış problemi ve genel davranış problemlerinin de azaldığı tespit edilmiştir. 18-36 aylık çocukların cinsiyetleri açısından genel davranış puanları ve dışa dönük davranış problemlerinde farklılık görülürken içe dönük davranış problemlerinde herhangi bir farklılık olmadığı saptanmıştır. 18-36 aylık çocukların zamanında doğup doğmama durumu, okul öncesi kuruma devam edip etmeme durumu, sosyo-ekonomik durum, çocuk sayısı ve anne baba öğrenim düzeyi açısından içe dönük davranış problemleri, dışa dönük davranış problemleri ve genel davranış puanlarında herhangi bir farklılık saptanmamıştır. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between temperament characteristics and problematic behaviors in 18-36 month old children. In the research, the relational scanning model among the scanning models was used. The sample group of the research consisted of parents with children aged 18-36 months, residing in the central district of Edirne province, using the snowball sampling method. "Personal Information Form", "Early Childhood Behavior Survey" and "1.5-5 Year Old Child Behavior Evaluation Scale" were used as data collection tools. Pearson correlation coefficient, Hierarchical Regression analysis, Independent Group t-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) techniques were used in the analysis of research data. According to the results obtained from the research findings, it was determined that there was a significant relationship between the temperament characteristics with behavior problem scores of children aged 18-36. It has been determined that there is a significant relationship between the emotional and behavioral problems of 18-36-month-old preschool children and their temperaments, and that behavioral problems and temperaments significantly explain them. In addition, it has been determined that as the ages of mothers and fathers of 18-36 month old children increase, the children's introverted behavior problems, extroverted behavior problems and general behavioral problems decrease. While there was a difference in general behavior scores and externalizing behavior problems of 18-36 month old children in terms of their gender, it was found that there was no difference in introverted behavior problems. No differences were found in the introverted behavior problems, extroverted behavior problems and general behavior scores of 18-36 month old children in terms of whether they were born on time or not, whether they attended a preschool institution or not, socioeconomic status, number of children and parents' education level.
