| dc.description.abstract | “Kadın öyle bir konudur ki, onu ne kadar incelersen incele her zaman yepyenidir.” Tolstoy’un bu tespiti kadın her an canlı kalan, kendine özgü bir coğrafyasının olduğunu özetler. Kadının en temel özelliği üretken oluşudur. Bu tez çalışmasında ressam Frida Kahlo’nun sanatındaki üretkenlik incelenmiştir. Sanatçının hayatı ve hayatıyla anlam kazanmış sanat anlayışı, tez konusu olan kadın olgusu üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Frida Kahlo’nun incelenen resimlerinde görülmüştür ki kendini baz en zenci veya yerli kadınlarla bazen de çocuklarla özdeşleştirmiştir. Kadın olma bilincini resimleri aracılığı ile günümüze taşımıştır. Tablolarında, günlüğüne çizdiği desenlerde modernizmin yıkıcılığına, tüketimine, yabancılaşmaya, parçalanmaya, bölünmeye karşı barıştan, umuttan, hayata olan bağlılıktan yana bir başkaldırı vardır. Sanatı onun tasviridir. Kadın bilincinin yanı sıra yaşadığı coğrafyanın antik geçmişi, devrimin etkisiyle gelişen milli kimliği de sanatına yansımıştır. Bu çalışma dört bölüm halinde incelenmiştir. İlk bölümde sanatçının doğduğu toprak olan Meksika ve Çağdaş Meksika Sanatı’na yer verilmiştir. Meksika Devrimi’nin nasıl yankı bulduğu ve devrimle canlanan Modern Meksika Sanatının özellikleri ele alınmıştır. MeksikaDevrimi’nin Frida Kahlo açısından önemi de büyüktür. Doğum tarihini devrimin olduğu tarihle değiştirmiştir. İkinci bölüm, Frida Kahlo’nun doğumundan başlar; hayatı, onu ressamlığa iten yaşadığı trajediler, Diego Rivera ile tanışması, çalışmalarının nasıl ortaya çıktığı gibi konulara ayrılmıştır. Üçüncü bölüm tezin ana konusunu oluşturur. Frida Kahlo’nun resimlerinde kadın ve kadın imgelerinin nasıl ele alındığına değinilmiştir. Son bölümde sanatçının çalışmaları açıklamaları ile ele alınmıştır. Ressam Frida Kahlo’nun sanat anlayışında kadının nasıl ve hangi öğelerle betimlendiği sonucuna gidilmiştir. | en_US |

| dc.description.abstract | “A woman is such a subject that how much you examine her, she is brand new all the time.” This detection summarizes that the woman stays alive and has a specific geography. The most basic feature of the woman is her productivity.In this thesis the productivity of Frida Kahlo's art is examined.It is studied on the artist's life, her sense of art which gains meaning with her life and the woman fact that is the main theme of the thesis. It is seen in Frida Kahlo's pictures that she identifies herself sometimes with black ornative women, sometimes with children.She carries the awareness of being a woman up to the present with her pictures. In her pictures and patterns she drew in her diary, there is a rebellion to the bitterness and consumption of modernism, alienation, disintegration,separation against the peace,hope,loyalty to the life. Her art is the description of her.Besides the awareness of woman, she also reflects the antique past of geography she lived and nationalidentity improved with the impact of revolution on her art. This study is examined for 4 parts. In the first part, Mexico, the place where she was born, and Modern Mexican Art are mentioned. It is dealt how Mexican revolution creates a tremendous impression and the features of Modern Mexican Art wakes with revolution.Mexican revolution is so important for Frida Kahlo. She changed her date of birth with the date of revolution. The second part begins with the birth of Frida Kahlo;it is separated several parts like her life,tragedies that impels her to be an artist,her meeting with Diego Rivera, how her works come up.The third part forms the main theme of the thesis. It is mentioned that how woman and woman facts is dealt in Frida Kahlo's pictures. In the last part her works are discussed with their explanations. It is inferred that in Frida Kahlo's sense of art, how Frida Kahlo portrayed woman and with which items. | en_US |
