dc.description.abstract | Anemia, which has an incidence of 50-75% in chromic liver disease, is explained by different etiopathogenetic mechanisms. Determination of the incidence of anemia in patients with chronic liver disease, demonstration of etiological distribution of anemia, and importance of morphological classification useful in diagnosis are discussed in accordance with recent data and literature. The main aim of this discussion is to treat the underlying cause of anemia in patients with chronic liver disease, and to advocate the opinion to commence future investigation as soon as possible, when considering the possible role of more than one factor in the etiopathogenesis of anemia | en_US |
