Özet
Hydatid cyst disease caused by Echinococcus granulosus is a parasitary disease that can involve many organs of the body. Cardiac hydatid cyst is a rarely seen complication. While hydatid cyst has a cardiac localization of 0.5-2%, with an incidence of 55-75% in the left ventricle, localization at tricuspid valve is very rare. The disease can be asymptomatic as well as develop suddenly and progressive. This is why surgical intervention is recommended even for asymptomatic patients. Here, we report a case diagnosed with cardiac hydatid cyst that operated in our clinic, with literature review.
