Abstract
Orhan Kemal, Türk edebiyatında hikâye, roman ve oyun yazarı olarak çeşitli türlerde eser vermiş üretken bir yazardır. 1914 yılında Adana?da hayata gözlerini açan yazar, 1970?te Sofya?da vefat eder. Doğumundan ölümüne kadar çok geniş bir coğrafyada yaşayan yazar, hikâyelerinde toplumun her kesiminden insanlara yer verir. Çalışmamızda Orhan Kemal?in hikâyeleri insan yönüyle incelenecektir. Amacımız, onun hikâyelerinde ele aldığı insanların değerleri duyma noktasında takındığı tavırları anlamak ve hikâyelerindeki insan kadrosunun niteliklerini tespit etmektir. Orhan Kemal?in bütün hikâyelerinde insan unsurunu ön plana çıkardığı görülür. Onda, insana ve insanlığa karşı sonsuz bir saygı vardır. En kötü insanın dahi iyi bir tarafı olduğuna inanan sanatçı, eserlerinde günlük konuşma dilini ve ağız özelliklerini kullanmıştır.
Orhan Kemal was a productive writer who gave various types of products being a story, novel and stage play writer in Turkish Literature. He opened his eyes to life in the year of 1914 in Adana and he deceased in 1970 in Sophia. The writer, who had lived on a wide geography from his born till death, gave place to every part of people in the society in his stories. We will analyze Orhan Kemal?s stories by the human aspect. Our aim is to understand the attitudes of the people who mentioned in his stories to the point of sensing the values and to determine the qualities of the human cadre in his stories. In all his stories Orhan Kemal is seen to highlight the human factor. He has infinite respect for human and humanity. The artist, who believes that even the worts human has a good side, has used Daily speech and dialectic features in his works. In this study, we examined how Orhan Kemal treats human beings and introduces them to the reader. The groups of values that guide the behavior of the people are determined which is mentioned in the stories. At the same time, the existing human cadre has been examined by the various viewpoints and classified under certain headings.
