Özet
Etik ve ahlak kavramlarının günlük yaşamda taşıdıkları önem, meslek hayatı için de geçerlidir. Meslek hayatında sergilenecek etik dışı bir davranışın sonuçları çok daha geniş bir alana yayılabilir. Bu nedenle meslek etiği en az günlük yaşamdaki etik kavramı kadar önemlidir. Meslek mensupları neden etik dışı davranışa yönelirler? Onları etik dışı davranışa iten en önemli nedenler nelerdir? Etik dışı davranış gerçekleşmese bile bir önceki aşamada yaşanan etik ikilemin nedenleri nelerdir? Meslek etiği kuralları, meslek mensuplarınca benimsenmiş ve genel kabul görmüş kurallardır. Meslek etiği kurallarına uygun davranış gösteren meslek mensupları, verdikleri hizmetin doğruluğu ve haklılığı karşısında, mesleki çevresinde yer alan tarafların güvenini ve saygısın kazanı, kendi bilgi ve yeteneklerine daha çok güvenir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, meslek etiği anlayışının ve kurallarının meslek yaşamına olan etkisini araştırmaktır. Bu amaca yönelik olarak, muhasebe meslek mensupları üzerinde bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, anket yöntemi kullanılarak veriler toplanmıştır.

The importance of ethics and morality concepts in daily life is also sound for vocational life. The results of an unethical behavior in vocational life can spread across a wider area. So vocational ethics is at least as important as the ethics concept in daily life. Why do members of a profession tend to behave unethically? What are the most important causes that direct them to unethical behavior? Even if the unethical behavior doesn’t occur, what are the causes of the ethical dilemma experienced in the past stages? Code of professional ethics is adopted and accepted by professions in general. Professions, who obey the rules of professional ethics, acquire confidence and respect of theirselves business environment in the view of their honesty and justness of their services. Professions unburden their own conscienses and take into confidence their own information and capability. The aim of this study is to search effects of concept and conduct of professional ethics over business life. So with this purpose the questionaire has been given to those accountants. In this study the received data has been collected with questionary. The questions about demographic characteristics and code of professional ethics have been asked those accountants. The results have been interpreted with statistical analysis method.
