Özet
Kadın hareketi, cinsler arasındaki eşitsizliğin ortadan kaldırılması ve kadının siyasal, ekonomik ve toplumsal hayatta erkekler ile birlikte eşit şekilde yer almasını sağlamak noktasında büyük önem taşımaktadır. Kadın hareketinin elde ettiği kazanımlar ve bunların uygulanması her yerde aynı değildir. Geleneksel uygulamalar ve kültürel alışkanlıklar kadınları farklı oranlarda etkilemeye devam etmekte ve bu durum kadınların toplumsal, ekonomik ve siyasal hayata katılımlarını büyük oranda etkilemektedir. Bu çalışma Kırklareli’nde kadın hareketinin bir incelemesidir. Kırklareli’nde kadın hareketinin parçalanmış bir görünüm verdiğini savunan bu çalışma temelde Kırklareli’nde güçlü bir kadın hareketinin bulunmadığı fikri üzerine kurgulanmıştır. Kırklareli’nde kadın hareketi, hareketi oluşturan sosyal taban, hareketin örgütlenmesi, amaçları, faaliyetleri ve hareket taktikleri temel kategorilerinde ele alınmıştır. Kırklareli’nde var olan kadın örgütlenmeleri bu çalışmanın ana odağını oluşturmaktadır. Bu çerçevede Kırklareli’nde kadın hareketinin bir parçası olan kadın örgütlerinin kadın sorununu nasıl tanımladığı, kadın sorununa karşı geliştirdikleri ve yürüttükleri program, eylem, faaliyet ve amaçlarının ne olduğunun saptanması çalışmanın temel noktasıdır. Kırklareli’nde kadın hareketinin oluşturan eğitimli ve ekonomik düzeyi yüksek kadınların ‘’kadın konusuna’’ bakışlarını kendi bulundukları avantajlı konumlarınca değerlendirmesi kadın hareketinin gücünü negatif yönde etkilemektedir.
Women’s movement is of great importance in order to remove the inequality between sexes and so that women can take part in social, political and economic life with the equal rights as men have. The benefits gained by women’s movement and their applications are not the same in every part of the world. Traditional attitude and cultural habits go on affecting women in a different way and this has a great influence on their participating in economic and political life. This is an analysis of women’s movement in Kırklareli. This work, which defends the idea that a strong women’s movement in Kırklareli seems to be divided in appearance, has been built on the view of having no feminist movement in Kırklareli. Women’s movement in Kırklareli has been discussed in accordance with the social base, organisation and the objectives of the movement. The organisation in Kırklareli forms the main focus of this study. In this framework, the fact that how the women organisations, as a part of the women’s movement in Kırklareli, define women’s problem, the course of action that they devise and carry on - in order to eliminate the problem -, to determine what their activities and aim are is the fundamental part of this study. The point of view of women, forming women’s movement in Kırklareli who have higher education and high social status to “the issue of woman”, has a negative effect on the movement, because they assess the problem according to their privileged position.
