| dc.description.abstract | Kültür Endüstrisi ve Tüketim Bağlamında Frankfurt Okulu’ndan Günümüze Birey, Tahakküm ve Özgürlük İlişkisi’ başlıklı bu çalışma, modern hayat içinde bireylerin yaşadığı güncel problemleri ele almaktadır. Kültür endüstrisinin kıskacında günümüz insanının konumu, tüketimin hemen yanı başındadır. Bu çalışmada kültür endüstrisi temelinde tüketen insanın nasıl üretildiği ve bu anlayışın kitle iletişim araçları tarafından nasıl yaygınlaştırıldığı ön plana çıkarılmak istenmiştir. Modern insan artık tükettikçe var olmaktadır. Hemen her gün farklı bir tüketim kalıbına giren modern insanın günlük hayatındaki açmazları ve tatminsiz oluşu kendisinin varlığını ve geleceğini tehlikeye sokmaktadır. Kültür endüstrisinin kişinin toplumsal alandaki konumunu tayin edici olması nedeniyle umutsuzca tüketime sürüklenen kitlelerin sayısı gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Modern hayatın getirdiği problemlere çözüm arayan ve buhran yaşayan bireyin durumu yine tüketimle geçiştirilmektedir. Bu kapsamda ortaya çıkan aşırı tüketimle birlikte insanları yönlendiren tahakküm yapılarının işlevleri irdelenmiştir. Kültürel alanı tahribata uğrayan insanın tüketim uğruna üretildiği gerçeğinin anlatıldığı çalışmada, modern bireyin özgürlük sorunu çektiğine de ışık tutulmuştur. Bu kapsamda özgürlüğünü kendisini kuşatan sistemlere devreden insanın değişmez zihniyetinin yeniden üretilmesi, çarkın devamlılığını sağlamak içindir. Arzularını tatmin etmek adına tüketim kalıplarının peşinden koşan insanın özgürlüğünü yitirmesi ve aklını teknik araçlara teslim etmesi önemli bir sorundur. Sonuç olarak insanın tüketimle olan bağını ve modern profilini ortaya çıkaran bu çalışma, tahakküm düzeneklerinin bireyde özgürlük yitimine yol açtığına da vurgu yapmaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study, titled "The Relationship between Individual, Domination and Freedom from the Frankfurt School to the Present in the Context of Cultural Industry and Consumption" deals with the current problems of individuals in modern life. The position of today's people in the grip of the cultural industry is that they are very fond of consumption. In this study, it is aimed to emphasize how the consumer comes into being on the basis of the cultural industry and how this understanding is spread through mass media. Modern man now exists as he consumes it. The dilemmas and dissatisfaction of the modern man in daily life which enters into a different consumption vortex almost every day endanger his existence and future. The number of masses desperately dragged into consumption is increasing day by day because the culture industry is a factor determining the individual's position in the social sphere. The situation of the individual, who is looking for solutions to the problems of modern life and experiencing depression, is again passed by consumption. In this context, the functions of the domination structures that direct people with the excessive consumption that emerge are examined. In this study, it is explained that people who have been destroyed by cultural field have emerged for the sake of consumption. It is also referred to that the modern individual suffers from freedom. In this context, the reproduction of the unchanging mentality of the human being, which transfers his freedom to the systems that surround him, is to ensure the continuity of the wheel. It is an important problem that people who pursue consumption patterns in order to satisfy their desires lose their freedom and submit their mind to technical means. As a result of this study, which reveals the connection of human to consumption and its modern profile, it also emphasizes that domination mechanisms lead to loss of freedom in the individual. | en_US |
