Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Erken Romantik Dönem bestecilerinden Carl Maria von Weber’in Op. 24 numaralı do majör piyano sonatını teknik ve müzikal açıdan inceleyerek, eseri yorumlamak, incelemek veya eğitimde kullanmak isteyenler için eser hakkında derinlemesine bilgi sunmaktır. Nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılarak yapılan bu çalışmanın ilk aşamasında, eseri daha iyi anlayabilmek için bestecisinin hayatı, yaşadığı dönemin müzikal özellikleri ilgili literatürden elde edilen bilgiler betimsel analiz yapılarak derlenmiştir. Sonrasında eserin ulaşılabilen notaları arasında inceleme yapılarak urtekst notası seçilmiş ve nota üzerinde doküman analiz yöntemleri kullanılarak müzikal analiz yapılmıştır. Müzikal analizin alt boyutları olarak; form, tonal tasarım ve formu destekler nitelikte armonik analizler yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak eserin Klasik Dönem’den Romantik Dönem’e geçişte önemli bir rolü olduğu, kendinden sonra gelen bestecilerin piyano stillerini etkilediği, Weber’in piyanistik eserlerinin en önemli özelliklerinden birisinin orkestra seslerini piyanoda betimlemesi olduğu, eserin bölümlerinin formlarının sırasıyla sonat allegrosu, lied, triolu sonat ve rondo şeklinde tasarlandığı görülmüştür. Op. 24 Piyano Sonatı her ne kadar Klasik Dönem özelliklerini de taşısa da armonik ve form yapısı açısından Romantik Dönem bireyselciliğini yansıtmaktadır.
This research aims to find one of the Early Romantic Period composers Carl Maria von Weber’s Op. It provides in-depth information about the piece for those who want to interpret, examine or use it in education by reading the piano sonata Op. 24 from a technical and musical point of view. In the first stage of this study, which was carried out using qualitative research methods, the information obtained from the literature about the composer’s life and the musical characteristics of the period in which he lived was compiled by making descriptive analysis to understand the work better. Afterward, the urtext note was selected by examining the accessible notes of the work, and musical analysis was performed on the note using document analysis methods. As sub-dimensions of musical analysis, form, tonal design, and harmonic analyzes supporting the form were made. As a result, the piece played an essential role in the transition from the Classical to the Romantic Period. It influenced the piano styles of the composers who came after it. As a result, it has been seen that, one of the most critical features of Weber’s pianistic works is the depiction of the orchestral sounds on the piano, and the form of the parts of the piece have been designed as sonat allegro, lied, sonat with trio and rondo respectively. Although the Op. 24 Piano Sonata carries the characteristics of the Classical Period, it reflects the Romantic Period’s individualism in terms of harmonic and form structure.
