Body weight supported treadmill training is re-education of the gait movements in function and task oriented way by using treadmill and body weight support systems. Gait training with body weight supported treadmill training is a useful intervention in stroke patients who are non-ambulated or have problems in ambulation. This method seems effective in gaining symmetric gait pattern, increasing gait speed and endurance. It has been suggested that this method should be combined with other rehabilitation approaches to get better results in stroke rehabilitation.en_US
