Abstract
İtalyan işgali altındaki Arnavutluk, II. Dünya Savaşı tarihinin en karanlık sayfalarından biridir. II. II. Dünya Savaşı'nın kaderi Müttefik Güçlerden yana dönmeye başladığında ve Arnavutluk'ta da çeşitli saldırılar yapıldığı sırada Mütteffik Güçler İtalyan güçlerini Arnavutluk topraklarından çıkarmaları için Ulusal Kurtuluş Hareketi'ne yardımda bulundu.
Albania under Italian occupation, is one of the lesser known events of Second World War history. In the history of World War II the battles of the Great Powers such as theGerman-Russian war, the Anglo-German war and the American-Japanese war are always the main focus but the history of a small country, such as Albania, which became the first occupied country in the Balkans, has not been widely discussed. In order to realize this thesis books of the most-well known Albanian historians who in their many works have given great importance to this dark period of Albania's history were studied, also some foreign historians who are expertised in history of World War II or Albania's history were taken under consideration. After Albania became an independent state in 1912, it brought with it the political challenges of independence, but it was thought that the political crisis came to an end with Ahmet Zogu and his government. Zogu's agreements with Italy led to anincrease of Italy's influence across the country. As Italy's colonial plan became clearer and clearer, Zogu's disagreements with the Italian government and the silence of Great Powers paved the way for the military occupation of Albania by fascist Italy, the occupation was carried out without any conflict except the day Albania was occupied. When the fate of the Second World War began to turn to the Allied Powers and various attacks were carried out in Albania, the Allied Forces helped the National Liberation Movement in driving out Italian forces from Albanian territory.
