Öğe Forage yield and lodging traits in peas (Pisum sativum L.) with different leaf types(2010) Bilgili U.; Uzun A.; Sincik M.; Yavuz M.; Aydino?lu B.; Çakmakci S.; Geren H.Two semi-leafless and four leafed pea (Pisum sativum L.) genotypes were evaluated for plant height, lodging scores, and forage yield in eight diverse locations with typical Mediterranean or Mediterranean-type climate in the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 growing seasons. The genotypes used in this study were forage type with indeterminate growing habit. Significant differences among pea genotypes were found for all traits over years and locations. All interactions which related to G × E interaction showed significance (P>0.01) for all traits. The forage yield of the pea genotypes averaged 26605 kg ha-1 and the highest yield was obtained from the leafed genotype Urunlu. Its forage yield reached to 35970 kg ha-1 yield level at Samsun location.Öğe Investigating the time children with autistic spectrum disorders spend with their typically developing siblings(Horizon Research Publishing, 2019) Yavuz M.; Şafak P.This study aimed to investigate the time spent by the individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with their siblings and to offer suggestions from the perspective of typically developing siblings so as to find how this might be improved. The study was carried out with the siblings presenting typical development of the individuals with ASD who were attending special education and rehabilitation centers in Istanbul. Ninety-three siblings with typical development participated in the study. The extended version of the questionnaire developed by Yavuz and Coşkun (2014) was used as the data collection tool of the study and the content analysis of the collected data was done. According to the results of the study, it was observed that the siblings play games, do other activities like leisure time activities outside the house with their siblings with ASD. The problems that arise when they spend time with their siblings with ASD outside their house are: communication problems, negative attitude of people, and other problems like behavior problems. A case study model was used in the research. The research was carried out with 34 students enrolled in Grades 3–8, who were diagnosed with SLD in Konya in the 2019–2020 academic year. In the data analysis, while ‘error analysis’ was used for reading error types, the formula Number of Words Correctly Read ÷ Total Word Number of Text × 100 was utilised to determine reading levels. As for the identification of reading rates, the number of words read correctly in one minute was determined. According to the results of the research, the error types displayed by the students with SLD in the texts that are suitable for the classes that they attend and in the texts that belong to lower grade levels than their actual grade levels were found to be misreading, hesitating while reading, repeating, omitting a sound/syllable/word or skipping a line, substituting a sound/syllable or a word, pausing while reading, correction and reversing sounds. © 2020 Birlesik Dunya Yenilik Arastirma ve Yayincilik Merkezi.
