The Qur’an, which was revealed as a guide to humanity, is being shared with readers in non-Arabic speaking countries through translations. For this reason meanings have an important place for societies whose language is not Arabic to be aware of the meanings of the Qur’an. Due to this need, many translations of the Qur’an have been made in different languages until today. The translation activity of the Qur’an into Turkish continues to increase. This intense meaning activity also brings with it some problems. Some of these problems are related to issues such as language, style, and translation techniques. In addition, it is seen that the pre-acceptances and ideological approaches of the translation author also cause some problems in meaning. Since these negative examples exist among the translations that aim to bring the Qur’an closer to the reader, it highlights the importance of selecting a translation carefully for the reader of the translation. Our study was conducted through document examination and content analysis methods. According to the statement, the translations of Hakkı Yılmaz and R. İhsan Eliaçık have been central in the study. These meanings have been preferred because they contain many examples related to our subject.
