This paper examine what child labor is, where and why kids work, and what can be done about the problemÖğe Sexual Harassment in the Workplace by the Occurance and the Consequences: A Research on Women Who Exposed to Sexual Harassment(2020) Yeşil, Yeliz; Fidan, FatmaThe research aims to identify and define the dimensions of sexualharassment that women are exposed to in the workplace and strategiesto cope with harassment. In the research, "in-depth interview" was usedas qualitative research methods and semi-structured interview form wasused as data collection tool. The study was conducted with 498 womenexposed to sexual abuse. The data were analyzed by NVIVO 10qualitative analysis program. Considering the contents of sexualharassment, although there are a range of harassment forms, in ahierarchy of severity, these can be named as harassment throughstalking, physical, verbal, and visual harassment. Women havedifficulties in recognizing and identifying harassment in the workplace.In particular, it appears that they have entered into the process ofconcealing and neglecting with different definitions, which they haveused to abuse the words ‘harassment’ and ‘harasser’. Guilt, weakness,humiliation, fear, anger, helplessness, not knowing what to do, denialare the emotions that arise after harassment. After harassment, womenwho are harassed remain silent due to fear of losing their jobs andreceving negative reactions. Women who are exposed to harassment aretrying to protect themselves from harassment by "self restraint andavoidance" approach.
